INTRODUCTION
Most of the landscape photographers doesn't use the camera strap because they take the camera out of their backpack Shoot and put it back, but sometimes it is necessary to move around on the field, and there's where you really miss the strap. Theres two options, or use the original belt but the assembly is not
an easy process, so set up and live with it, or I’ll talk you about an accessory that will make a all the difference, it's the perfect combination between the camera and the photographer, for me it is one of the best accessories that Peak Design launched.
Today i will talk to you about Peak Design Slide Strap. Now you ask me, mate what's the difference between that one and the original, and i will tell you.
Peak Design created a belt that can be disassembled whenever needed, they created anchors, which make possible the to mount and dismount the strap in a matter of seconds, and even more an adjustable belt, with a touch of class.
ABOUT PEAK DESIGN
In 2010, fresh-faced midwestern-transplant Peter Dering took a 4-month trip around the world. On his trip, Peter learned that carrying a nice big camera around is actually a real pain in the ass. 3- DESIGN, BUILD AND AESTHETIC
Looking for the strap, what came in my mind? Ok another's common strap, it looks like my car seat belt.
The nylon webbing that makes up the Peak Design Slide Lite looks great, is built to last, and is smooth to touch. It isn’t scratchy or rough in any way. The edges feel tapered off and rounded.
One of the things that call attention in this strap it's the slider is the dual quick-adjusters, that is the part that you easily change the length and wear it a different way, I’m sure that would help!
Who make street photography will love this strap you can walk the streets swinging my camera around like a baton. I know it’ll hold, it’s rated to 90kg.
One of the other recent updates to the Slide series of straps includes a silicone rubber grip, which has been built in to help keep it from slipping off your body when using it as a shoulder strap.
The quick pull adjusters are made of a nice-looking combination of aluminium and plastic, they feel good quality and don’t give the impression that they’re going to give way anytime soon.
FUNCTIONALITY
Thinking in a camera strap, i can tell that there's nothing much to talk about it, but you arw wrong, this strap have something to say.
The lengthen and the shorten is the one of the awsome features this strap haves, this the quick adjusteres it have, you can set up the configuration of the position. You can pull aluminium adjusters and a light tug on the strap. It’ll smoothly slide through in either direction.
The adjusters are light, yet tight. They open and close with a rather satisfying click.
Sometimes I want my camera strap short and around my neck and other times long and over my shoulder, with the camera at my side. The Slide strap makes it possible to change between these drastically different lengths in just a couple seconds.
The Peak Design Anchors can be mounted to either side of your camera, as well as on the Anchor Mount attached to the bottom, giving you multiple ways to attach and wear your Peak Design Slide.
You can use the mount in the bottom of your camera, but for the landscape photographer is a big problem, you will need to remove it before attaching a tripod. The Hex came it's included in box, but for me, the mouth is useless.
If you lose your included hex-key, you can use any other 4mm hex-key. One recommendation is to use the included key ring attached to the hex-key and attach it to your tripod so you always have it when you need!
Depending on how you like to wear your camera strap, you can also pair it up with a Peak Design Clutch or Cuff. This will give you more carrying options! Personally I have paired mine with a Peak Design Clutch to help with comfort and confidence when carrying my camera.
One of my absolute favorite functions of the Slide strap is actually being able to not use the strap at all. I bought extra anchors and installed on all of my cameras, now, I'm able to use the strap in all of them.
PRICE VS PERFORMANCE
There are many options on the market, and they are more accessible ma but, stop to think a little bit, a strap for a camera, That the greatest functionality is the versatility of being able to install it when you want, and being able to also use the same strap on all my cameras, I think without no doubt that this strap is a good investment

CONCLUSIONS
I really liked this Strap but not everything is perfect in this strap, for me have a big defect, its a little bit heavy and a bit bulky, for a landscape photographer it's a strap that takes up a lot of space in the backpack if it were a few days ago probably i didn't buy this one, but the lite version more light, more thin, less bulky.
But with no doubt the Peak Design Slide strap is the best camera straps i have used so far. They’re not perfect, but they’re close.
The straps are nicely designed and built, fast to adjust, and fast to remove from the camera. My favorite feature of the Slide strap is the Anchor Link system for secure attachment and fast removal of the strap.
